The results from testing Synology NAS (RS2416+ with Intel Atom C2538 and 2GB RAM), VMware host servers, backup encryption enabled: 1) Great as a target repository for Backup jobs - the effectivity has been significantly increased.
27.03.2017 · You just attach the NAS to the veeam host over iscsi. Nothing to do with veeam windows will handle the connection for iscsi and present it to veeam as another volume on the windows OS. Unfortunately, this is not true. Veeam can not backup the iSCSI volume. You can back it up via a file copy job.

I'm trying to add a synology nas drive to the backup repository. I created a new user with admin rights, however with this user I got a access denied error.
